"If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again."
RIP Grove Pashley (Grover)
1993-2012
Grover is a 1993 16hh Thoroughbred gelding. He raced until he was 9 years old, foxhunted for 2 years, and then started eventing. He loved his job! He had a big heart and enjoyed competition. Grover did up to First Level dressage (schooling 2nd and 3rd), 3' 6" jumpers, and Preliminary Level eventing. In 2008, he was 3rd in the American Eventing Championships at Training level with a final score of 29.5. He was consistently in the low 30s in dressage at all levels and almost always ribboned. He was a great teacher to a rider learning eventing, dressage, or jumpers. Below is a video of Grover in 2007 at USPC Championships. I moved him up in 2009 and at Prelim he never took a rail.

Dear Grover,
You will always be in my thoughts, memories, and dreams...
You were the first horse I did eventing with, first horse I went prelim with,
first horse I won a national title with...you gave me the love for eventing
and horseback riding and because of that I'm forever grateful.
You were the best thing that ever happened to me and I will always
love you more than words could ever express.
RIP Grover
With Love,
Ashley
